Another idle problem question. Please read....
I have been having this problem with my idle since day one. Have gone through about 100 things with no sucess. Whenever I put on the stock B17 intake mani, it seems to get a LOT better. Must like the FITV for some reason. Anyways. I made sure the FITV screw was in all the way, nice and tight... still bounces ever so slightly around 1000 to 700rpms. I had replaced the O2 with a universal Bosch and began to think maybe this was causing my problem. I unplugged the O2 with the car running and it immediately corrected the idle problem and ran smooth. Does this say anything as to what could be causing the problem? I have replaced all the vac lines, double checked all the connections, tried 3 different tb's, 3 different intakes, 2 ecus, 4 IACV's, 2 fuel pressure regulators, 2 sets of wires and two different caps/rotors all with the same results.... Any ideas? Its important that I correct this ASAP because I am going to the state ref on Wednesday.
