I've got another question. If I wanted to flush my oil I would just get an equal amount, fill it, drain it again, then refill. correct?
thanks,
{brcivic411} I know I have talked to a couple people an they like it but they
are older V8s and I'm shure they arent as picky.

I have a amsoil rep living next to me. He has told very good things about his company and also redline. Royal purple is very bad and they are going out of business. You can go 5,000 miles with amsoil.
Every oil should be able to take 5000 miles. Ive seen it, never used it though because I get Mobile one free. I change mine every 3000, im sure I could go past 5000, but whats the point. Your going to change the oil before that anyway. Money down the drain.

I used to live near the Amsoil manufacturing plant in Superior, WI. I've used it before in my snowmobile and dirtbike but never in my car. From what i hear its good stuff. Personally I prefer 10w30 valvoline. If you change your oil every 2500 miles, you wont have anything to worry about. You would just be wasting your money on oil. I just don't really believe in synthetic oils that much.
