Default Always damp/wet

I have a 2007 Civic EX with only about 130,000 miles. Honda recalled and replaced the head about 10 years ago, so that component only has about 50,000 miles on it. I only use it to do local errands and it runs well.
But, (you know that was coming) it has a windshield leak or something else that I cannot track down. The carpeting under the dash on both sides is perpetually wet/damp. I can keep using it and disregard the dampness but I sure would like to track down the source of the water. I'm torn between wanting to keep it, after all, it is reliable and I've had it for 18 years, or replacing it. Suggestions?
Thanks.
Richard
