b16a2 is obd2 (99-00 si)

b16a3 is obd1 (del slow VTEC)

if your's really a b16a2 then you need a alternator from a 99-00 civic si.

You'll have your answer tonight, I'm @ work right now, I have a Alternator number for you, off mine. (I started with a '00 B18C5 for my '95 and had the same problem, can't remember what year, 92-93 LS?) I have a new one sittin on the shelf, so i'll post the number and the manufacturer.

sorry, so long.
it doesn't have a brand name on it but the number is 13529

should be for a 93 or 94 LS if its the right one mount will fit right and OBD 1 Plug will also.
