alt light comes on after 4k
i got a 91 civic hatch with a 96 ls motor converted to obd1 using a pr4 ecu i just did this swap in august this year. the alt im using, is about 2 years old but i bought it 2 years ago, used it for 5 minutes only idling then it sat for the past 2 years.
whenever i go above 4k the alt light comes on. its been doing this since i first got the motor running. im using a integ obd0 alt because i just left the alt wiring alone and it didnt do it with the stock obd0 d15 motor.
what do you think it is?

alternator? battery light is coming on above 4k rpms? if the battery light is coming on then you're alternator is probably not functioning correctly. take it out and go have it tested somewhere or run it hooked up and test it with a voltmeter.
at idle its boncing around 14.40v then when i rev it all the way up to limiter it goes to 14.5x pretty as soon as i start to rev it and it stays like that till limiter
