anything is possible, but not worth the effort. get an evo8 or sti if you want a great boosted car with awd.

this is like the tiburon that sum guys put two engines in, one front, one rear, with two independant trannys. like has been said before, anything is possible. but for the money, trouble, and time its gonna take you, forget about it. it might be easier if honda made a car that was awd, but they dont, so its not

Honda has produced some AWD cars, like the station wagon for one. However, it's way to weak, to stand-up to any kind hp tho...

dude, i dont think its gonna really be possible. the crv drivetrain aint gonna work. and none of the other cars from any of the near model years have awd. if u really want, i'd try like an 88 civic. im pretty sure some of those came awd. but as 88 sc crx si said, dont think that is gonna hold up to the 00 si hp. good luck with the plans though.

The CRV manual transmission will bolt up to your B16 block, but you have much more work ahead of you to do this conversion.

The rear end work will need to be made up on your own, a custom driveshaft will need to be made, you will probably need to run a fuel cell and ditch the factory fuel tank, exhaust routing will probably be an issue in the transmission tunnel area, you will need to get the CRV shift cables and shifter and starter, and possibly deal with some mount problems.

Good luck!

If you need the transmission or starter I have both, send an email.

**** yes me and my have talked about this subjuct for hours and we can. it would cost about 100,000 150,000 dollors. S2000 motor and tranny with a custom made transfarcase for the S2000 tranny. and custom made front and rear indepenenet suspenion. But the motor would be turboed the **** out.

If you've ever seen the pathetic toothpicks Honda called 'rear axles' on a CRV you'd know why it would be a waste of time to try and make an AWD high-hp car...

Nothing about the strength of the existing CRV drive train matters. All of that can be changed. Custom like a beast, but you're already adapting it to fit something else, so why would you stop there. It'd be stupid to do this and leave everything stock. The civic wagovan thing used an awd setup that a guy at PP.com was adapting to a 3rd gen prelude. He's half way finished with it but he wants to sell it.
