I just checked my oil level in my motor and I have no oil, or very little so that its not getting on the dipstick. I already found out that my motor is running lean today. Now this. Anyway, I had changed the cam plug on my b18b about 2 months ago becasue it was leaking. Now it is leaking again but that much oil cant all be lost from a small leak in a cam plug can it? Also, does anyone know why my cam plug keeps leaking. I'm using OEM plugs. The first one I changed was dried out so I can understand why it would leak but the ne wone is not dry. just leaking. Anyone in Queens NY like Teg's enough to help me figure out whats up with mine.

 

Um what i would do is take the cam plug out again and get some Honda Bond and put it all over the seal....that should stop the leak...And what kind of oil do you use?I had an LS motor and i was useing Mobile 1 oil and that would burn like crazy...Then i used Valvoline Max life and the problem went away...Try 10-30 or 20-50.......The cam seal leaking and your motor burning oil isn't helping...so try new oil and put some kind of sealant on the cam plug...

I will try that. The oil im using is 5-30 (penzoil brand) as recomended in the users manual. I don't think that my motor is burning oil unless you mean thats why its gone. I will try the honda bond but where can I get it? Dealer or any auto store? My motor's egnition is advanced and its burning my plugs. I will be looking into fixing that this weekend. Thanx for the help... keep it comming if anyone has more ideas.

 

you can get Honda bond from Honda its like 7 dollars a tube or maybe more...Yes thats alot but that **** works...All LS motors i have seen burn oil i have no idea why but they do...Because the people that have LS motors rev the **** out of them....And grandma down the street that has a LS motor doesnt burn oil...Do you know why???because she drives it NORMAL.....But try that oil i said to use and let that wear in...and it will take like 2 oil changes to see results....
