ALL MOTOR HELP W/ SPOON STUFF
I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS THIS SETUP IN A TYPE R MOTOR OR HAS THE KNOWLEGDE AND WHAT THE TOTAL COMPRESSION RATIO OF THE SPOON PISTONS AND THE 1 PLY HEADGASKET IS? WHAT THE TOTAL HORSEPOWER WILL BE GAINED, I JUST HAVE STK INTERNALS BESIDE PISTONS, GASKET AND EXHAUST AND FINALLY DO YOU GUYS RECOMMEND FPR AND UPGRADED FUEL PUMP? THANKS ALOT...
i'm not quite sure about the compression ratio of the spoon pistons, but i believe they're are almost the same as the CTR and ITR pistons but they are rebalance by SPOON. About the spoon head gasket, its like 200 dollars i think and it increase your compression without milling the head.... i think is a weaste of money, but it does work!!!!!

This was answered in the ITR forum.
The Spoon balanced JDM ITR pistons in a B18C5 make 11.1:1 compression. The two layer gasket bumps it to about 11.3-11.4:1. Single ply should take it to about 11.5-11.6:1.
No experience here with the 1 layer. I did run the 2 layer shortly, and have taken it off. Sealed just fine. I have heard the 1 layer is not as easy to get to seal...
