Default all motor h22...

i have a 94 jdm close deck h22 with crower valve train, skunk2 sprockets, type s cams, standard stainless steel valves (dished), bottom end is stock, m2b4 lsd tranny, stock lighten flywheel, heavy duty act pp with 6 puck, intake manifold with butterflys removed, chipped p28 with mugen specs (vtec at 5000, redline at 8500). all this is in a 93 civic coupe.

The question is what can i do to improve my quarter mile time (best 12.9 @ 103mph). should i adjust my sprockets, if so what is the best adjust? should i make my vtec engage sooner or later, if so what is the best engagment?

thanks.

With Newman's p28 I believe
vtec x-over is at 4800-4900. Only way to find out for sure where to lower your vtec x-over is to put your car on a dyno and take a look at the plot.

Have you upgraded the header or intake? You could also try hondata's or some other company's intake manifold gasket kit (extra hp for cheap).

Also I am not too sure on this but could the Crower valvetrain be a little too much for type S cams?

well my coupe has no back seats, heater core, no ac system, ect. just the motor in the shell. it was running on open headers on 13x24.5x8.5 slicks. i got the crower vavle train because i was planning to see what i can do with the type s cams first then hit up some higher lift cams later. i also have i,h,e. forgot to mention it.

thanks for the info.
