Default all IACV interchangable?

are all IACV interchangable between, b-series, h, d, and f series? if not, which ones are interchangable? TIA

they all dont have the same bolt pattern, but will work if you only use 1 bolt to hold it in place

I'm tryin to help somebody out. looks like he might need a new IACV but wants to make sure that's the problem before he buys a new one. I can swap mines with his but wasn't sure that it would work. so you're telling me it should work even if I just bolt up 1 bolt?

by the way, I have a JDM h22a and he has a JDM b16 1st gen.

i am using a d series iacv on an h series manifold without issues.

The ones Ive have 2 different sizes. Some manifolds are tapped for both bolt patterns though.

another question, how did you tell your IACV were bad? what symptoms were you guys having?

constant surging could also be fast idle valve you have to be careful because they have the same symptoms.....

can you elaborate a lil more? fluctuation in idle? from what rpm to what rpm? surging when at idle? what was your idle sitting at?

Fluctuation in idle can also be other things as well:

Vacuum leak
Improper idle adjustment
Poorly tuned ecu map
Air in coolant lines
Just to name a few...
