Are all B-series VSS interchangeable?

Are all B-series Vehicle Speed Sensors the same? I have a Y21 tranny. I ordered a replacement VSS for a 2nd gen B16a but the sensor is shaped different. Will this one work if I change the sensor and gear? Thanks for helping.

Im guessing its a YS1 tranny...but yes, the VSS is interchangeable

Cable transmissions use a cable drive "VSS". DA Integras have a "VSS" with power steering line inputs for the speed sensitive steering. (i.e. YS1)

Hydro transmissions are all electrical VSS equipped. I would think all the sensors are the same. (i.e. Y21)
