alignment homemade rack
alright guys heres my deal,
my car is too low to get a propor laser alignment anywhere near my area. subframe cuts out the lazers. so, i saw once a few pictures and a detailed explaination of someones homemade alignment rack they made for quick easy use at the track. it was like 4 jackstands, 2 long metal pipes, a ruler or 2 and some string. it looked pretty good and i want to try it. so, has anyone heard of this or have any input? i have searched forever and havent really found anything. and i have called allll alignment places i know of in the twin cities area in mn for a rack that could do my car. so if your local mn and know of something in that area, thatd be cool too. thanx guys ...

This a fairly accurate method of setting the alignment. I have a similar setup and was sceptical too till I did the alignment with my setup then paid to have it checked and the guy who did the alignment commented that it needed No Adjustment. When I told what I had built he said don't tell too many people or the alignments he did would have to come down in price. This is all predicated on the fact that your wheels must be straight not bent or out of round.
