AIR VENTS NOT WORKING
my air vents dont work on anyspeed, i ran straight power to the blower motor and it worked fine, checked power to the blower motor and i cant seem to get power, could this be a problem with the climate control unit ? the vents are the only thing that does not work on the climate control panel.. would like to get this working soon before i get the car on the street. put a new sensor thing that goes on top the of blower motor box. still nothing.
THIS IS IN MY 89 CRX HF

how do air vents go bad??
re-think your wording. it's hard to help someone diagnose if you can't figure out what they are talking about
so you replaced the blower motor resistor i'm guessing? as there are no sensors in usdm crx climate control. next step is check your fuses, if still no luck bypass the switch and see if it needs to be replaced. should be one of those two options.

Power is supplied directly to the blower motor, fused and through a relay, on and speed control is done with grounds through 1, 2 or 3 resistors and direct for full speed.
If you supply power directly to the blower motor, and switch the speed setting and it works on all 4 speeds there is nothing wrong with the control head, blower resistor or the wiring on the ground side of the blower motor, the problem is on the power side.
I agree with MonkeyMagic it is very hard to understand exactly what you mean. 94
