Air Intakes??
I have 2 questions:
1. So i just read this thing online that says that intakes will NOT actually give you extra HP or extra MPG, but instead they will give you less torque? True or not?
2. if not true, what is the difference between the short intake and the cold air intake? Which would work better?

Short = louder, and faster throttle response, but less top end power.
Long = quieter, and better top end power.
You can try it by installing a filter directly on the throttle body and take it for a test drive.

Personally, I like cold air intake that cut into your fender well. You get colder air.
Then you also gotta watch out when it rains and not drive into puddles which i guess is common sense but the other guys are right about the short and cold air, and yeah you do get a small horsepower gain maybe 3-5.
