Has anyone ever experienced adverse effects from deleting the resonator in your intake system? I have a slight suspicion that it decreases fuel economy and messes with your idle. Any firsthand experiences?

I suspect it doesn't, but then again I am not a very well qualified and educated Honda engineer. Usually if using the stock intake I leave it intact as it was designed to optimized price, efficiency, power, economy and quietness.
If anything I have seen overall the best efficiency and idle with all stock parts since the computer is designed to work with those and is extremely well tested.

The only real job of the resonator is to decrease air intake sound.
