Hi all I installed a new cold air intake on my 97 civic ex. After I installed it I turned the car on and worked fine. Then, I turned it off and put everything away. When I went back to turn the car on, the Check engine light came on. I thought it had something to do with my intake sensor, so I put the old intake system back on. And the light wouldnt go away. I drove the next day to my mechanic and he told me that the Intake Air Temp code had to be reset. So he did it. So now i paid for the reset and have the old intake system still on. does anyone have suggestions on what i should do to install the cold intake and not have the light come on?
