Default Air Condition Experts, Your Opinions.......

I had a 12 inch slim fan on my condensor that I bought from O'rielly, and it didn't seem to keep the condensor cool when the car was at a stop so my compressor would release freon from my pressure valve. Now I installed a 13 inch Spal fan. It seems to be pulling more air. Today I had some time to check my pressure so I hooked the lines up and this is what i got
Low side (Blue) 34-36 psi
High Side (Red) 280-290 psi
My friend tells me it's still too high and it should be at 250, but the new fan's been on since Monday and it has yet to release any freon. Whay do you guy's think?
Oh, by the way, the car is turbocharged.

clogg in system. fan isn't the problem. most common is a clogged condensor. i would double check if you have filled it properly first. overfilling will cause the high side to be very high. are you using manifold gauges only or a recycler machine if you use manifold lines be sure to open the low when adding very rapidly. opening the low slow will allow air pressure from the freon tank to enter instead of the liquid freon. it happened once to me. good luck

I was told the low side shouldn't be filled over 30.

atmospheric conditions, like humidity and tempature, will cause an A/C system to act differently. High humidity will make an A/C compressor remain on longer than dryer air. Are the numbers for the A/C system on and car running in park?

Yes it is in park.
To answer the above question, we used a recovery machine.
