Can anyone tell me how to dissable the Airbags on my 99 civi Si ? I want to cage it and killing the bags is a must but not sure how to do it.

Why is it a must? The easiest thing to do would be to replace the steering wheel. I'd keep them in. You're putting a roll cage in partly (I hope...) to protect you in case of an accident. Why would you want to take something else away to protect yourself?

From what I've heard (and I don't know this for sure) but disabling is not a good idea. I seem to recall people having incidents where the airbag [I]can{/I] deploy if the sensor is not hooked up to it. Like I said, I don't know that for sure, just heard it.

Fixhondas or breakstuff, you guys know this one?

 

I can do that, but then I'm stuck with the passanger side. The reason is I don't want to bump somone on the track and have the bag go off...... the car is not going to see the street, trailor queen! Thanks for the input though.

Ok, I gotcha now. I thought it was still going to be street use. Yeah, that would suck to rub somebody and have it go off. The safest thing to do would be to remove it entirely on both sides of the car. I've seen the instructions somewhere for that. I'll see if I can find them.
