Default after installing my headers...

i have a 93 prelude, with a jdm f22b swapped in.

a while back i installed dc sport headers on but i only installed the top portion of the headers, the 4-2 part (dont ask why). after that i got the catback redone with 2.25 in piping, took off the resonator and had a tanabe muffler installed at the tip.

everything was running fine and the exhaust sounded badass, until i got an exhaust leak. so just the other day i got back under there and replaced the bottom portion of the headers, figuring that would fix the leak because the 2 piece header will fit perfectly together, and plus it would give me better flow over the factory piping. i swapped the factory o2 sensor over to the dc sport headers too.

but now my check engine light came on and the exhaust sounds horrible... the pitch is way tooooooo high and it cracks when i punch the rev..... but the weird thing is that i feel more power, like it has more kick when i floor it.

has anybody had these kind of problems when you installed your headers? or is there any info anybody can give me?
