Additional Valvetrain Oiling
Anyone had experience with oil passage modification to supply additional oil to the valvetrain on the SOHC D Series VTec motors.
I'm specifically talking about increasing the hole in the oil restrictor and oil bleed in the VTec pressure switch by a few thou.
Oil pump modification is the first step here. If you increase pressure by shimming the pump, I assume the head will not get any additional oil unless you open up the passages for flow (i.e oil restrictor in head, oil bleed in VTec switch).
