Additional Injector controllers
I've been researching additional injectors for my project and I'm compiling a list of controllers. This is what I have so far. If anyone knows of something not on the list, could you please let me know? - Thanks....

Here! Here! Let's hear it for a stand-alone. AEM can control a bunch of injectors. So can MoTeC for the money I don't know of any else so please help me here. If all else fails you can just build your own for dirt cheap. It's easier than you think.
I understand that for all out control over you engine, nothing will compare to a stand-alone, but can you explain (technically) why additional injectors are just a "band-aid" for a daily driver?
The way I see it is that I can leave my oem computer to do what it does best and rely on an external unit that adds additional fuel based on MAP and RPM. As long as the oem ecu doesn't see boost, I should maintain reliable off boost drivability.
I also understand that just adding a few additional injectors before the throttle body has its own implications, so I'd be adding 4 more on to the intake mani itself. I'm also contemplating fueling these addional injectors with their own fuel cell.
More air provided = more fuel needed, the principle is fairly simple. I don't see why it's so complicated/expensive to achieve a stoich (or better) mixture with additional injectors. So if someone can explain to me why a stand-alone is that much better (and I stress technically), I'd appreciate it.
