Default Adding a CKF to an OBD1 engine. Hurdles?

Already searched to no avail. What is the difficulty of adding a CKF to an OBD1 engine?
So far it appears I need a new oil pump. What else? Any machining required?

Thanks guys.

why in the hell would you want to do this?
the only thing the CKF does is tell the OBD2 ECU if theres a misfire, and on which cylinder it occured.
CKF stands for crank fluctuation... basically it can read detonation and on which cylinder.

Yes, I am aware of that. I was looking at picking up an OBD1 gsr block. I need to keep my OBD2 b16a2 ecu to pass emissions. See the dilemma?

Any info?

no i don't see the dilema, are you using an OBD2 ecu with the OBD1 motor (basically the exact same thing except for a different casting oil pump so they can mount the sensor to it.)
you say you need to keep the OBD2 motor for passing emissions, so that tells me your gonna run a different ECU which will not use the CKF sensor.

Thanks for the info guys. Seems like I could have been clearer about what I currently have. I already have an OBD2 engine (2000 b16a2), ecu, and everything associated it. I was looking at picking up a 95 gsr block to bolt to my b16a2 head and tranny. I planned on reusing the sensor I already have.
I have to keep the OBD2 ecu to pass emissions. That is why I was asking the question. Once again, thanks for all the input.

gotcha...
one more question though, you say your gonna use the stock B16A2 OBD2 ECU to manage a bigger displacement GSR engine right, so how do you plan on making up the difference for the fuel and timing maps?
This is why I thought you were just going to set your OBD2 components aside, use a OBD2 to OBD1 adapter harness and plug in a P28 or P72 chipped ECU or maybee a Hondata unit.

Sorry for all the confusion!

I thought the difference in displacement would still fall within the parameters of the current ECU (2000 b16a2 ecu). I guess I could just run a custom ecu, and switch in the stock ecu when I need to get my emissions test.

You will need to transfer the timing belt drive from the B16 crank to the GSR crank so the CKF sensor will have something to "read" from.
