Default Added CTR cams now missing help...

I have a gen1 b16 ef hatch its a PR3 ECU. It has CAI,2.5 EXHAUST no cat,DC 4-2-1,Skunk2 IM,B&M FPR. I've had a CTR intake cam in the car for about 4k and it ran just like stock. I just had a CTR exhaust cam installed and it pulls very hard but i'm noticeing a slight miss. It does'nt do it alot or even all the time but i've felt it at low rpms, high rpms and idle. It's really like a pause or hesitation for just a slight second. The car had a complete tuneup about 3k ago new cap, rotor, wires, plugs etc.

I'm thinking i'm running lean but i'm no tuner. It could be my timing but who knows because I had a shop do it.

How would a aftermarket PR3 Chip do me? I've heard they add alot of fuel and I seen the mugen pr3 but it moves the vtec x-crossover to 4400rpm with no rev limiter.

Could I add fuel with a VAFC?

I'm about to add a nice header probably ANR but maybe the SMSP and i'm gonna need more fuel at some point if I don't already.

Did the shop degree your cam correctly during install?

It was the same shop who put my intake cam in before with no problems. I have no tuning device. I have a FPR but that won't do anything. This is'nt a major issue its minor but I think its detonating when it does it and I want to fix it.

What are some decent options without dynoing it?
Could I get it running right with some possible hp gains out of a VAFC on the dyno?

I've heard the aftermarket chips run really rich so I was thinking about the mugen pr3 but the vtec is set at 4400 with no rev limiter. Is that gonna hurt performance moving it up?

I'm about to have my skunk2 IM ported and get a 62mm R TB maybe that'll help alittle.

Some body just point me in the right direction.

It seems to do it the most going up big hills.

Is it missing, or detonation, it sounds like your cam is off a tooth in timing.

Its just slightly hestitating kinda like when you need a tuneup but not so bad. If I drive it for 30 minutes it'll do it 2-3 times. I also have been throwing a CEL on deceleration only sometimes not all the time mainly after hard driving. I'm about to have that fixed has well.

I'm not sure if its detonating because it does it at low rpm it does seem more noticeable on steep hills or with the AC on.

It has been throwing a code since I've had it mainly after hard driving on deceleration and it don't throw it everytime. I think it has something to do with my 2nd o2 sensor.

It does'nt sound like its pinging more of a slight stumble or slight miss.

Whats the cheapest and best way to tune my car staying OBD-0 with my PR3 ECU ?

I talked to the mechanic who said all he did was advance the ignition timing 2 degrees. The ignition timing was just listened to by hear and set by me before so no way to tell what it was set at before he adjusted it.

It was alittle more noticable today but its not bad just stubles like it needs a tuneup. I will say this the timing seems retarded to me it seems like the powerband is pushed back and pulls like crazy to redline but its sluggish getting to vtec. Before with just the CTR intake cam it had more torque down low.

What is the cheapest option for tuning and staying OBD-0 WITH MY PR3.

Can a dyno tuner give me a decent tune with my pr-3 ecu and a vafc?
Is thier a way for the tuner to burn my ECU?
