Default ACT Clutch

I'm planning to install the Act modified street clutch on Wednesday. Does anyone have any experince on this clutch? Is the pedal pressure about the same as stock?

I was using an ACT HDSS clutch on my ZC swap. The pedal pressure was much higher than stock. I was using a heavy duty pressure plate. It wasn't that tough once I got used to it. It was a very nice clutch by the way.

HD-SS too on my GS-R with 9lb FW.

The pedal pressure is definitely bearable. It is a little annoying on hills and in stop-n-go traffic or both at the same time.

For you guys w/ the ACT heavy duty clutch kit for a civic/integra... have you guys driven a stock prelude or accord clutch? To me, the stock accord/prelude clutch requires much more pedal pressure than the civic/integra one.

Can anyone compare the integra/civic ACT heavy duty clutch to the stock accord/prelude clutch?

I have the XTPP w/ SS disc in my Accord, and the pedal pressure is extremely high... My friend has a HDSS in his 'Lude, and his was much more comfortable. Note: Accords and Preludes have the same clutchs.

Would a HDSS setup be able to handle a boosted b18b? (to what extent?)
Same question for a stage 2 Clutchnet..

HDSS is designed to withstand 286ft-lbs of torque... XTSS 386ft-lbs torque...

This might be a stupid question but would higher pedal pressure cause the seal on the clutch cylinder to fail faster?
