ACL Bearings Tech Info and Pix
Here is some tech info on ACL Bearings. Note they are a tri-metal like Honda

Here is a set of ACL's out of one of my race engines. There are about 100 dyno and quarter mile passes on them. Thats got to equal 50,000 miles of use because of the way I run the motors on the ragged edge. These bearing are going back into the engine (wish I could say the same for the pistons)

Earl are you going to have GSR rod bearings? These are hard to get and I would like some. Will you also have their piston rings?
Good deal Earl, H-T members can really benefit from this.
ACL bearings may be the best kept "secret" that knowledgeable engine builders have.

From all the bearings I've seen ACL hold up much better than Honda O.E. I am going to be using them in my All Motor Drag LS/Vtec.
If you do a sided by side visual with Honda OE they even look higher quality. I have no hesitation in reccommending ACL's.

Where can you buy them? Im getting block work done soon and if these are competatively priced with OE bearings then ill prolly get them instead. Thanks!

Rocket, im in a time crunch! Internals shouldbe here mid next week and i want the engine in the shop by the end of the week. Let me know if you can work any magic!! IT'll be for a 1995 JDM GSR engine. Heck, you could even ship the bearings with my injectors i got from your group buy. Let me know. Thanks again Rocket,

Good news..I'm got approved by ACL to market ACL bearings, Hastings piston rings (the same kind you get when you order new pistons from JE) and maybe a new player in the head gasket market (not sure on these gaskets yet). Bear with me because I have received many e-mails and hope to get the pricing soon. I hope to open new areas to savings for all the H-T Members.
Here are the bad boys form Australia. (Mains for my engine)
Read the text underneath the diagram of the first post about load carry capacity and you'll see that the material used is the Duraglide 780 alloy.

i'm using ACL main/rod bearings as well in the engine that i'm build up. ACL is more reasonally priced than Honda bearings(way over-priced!). i forgot the exact price i got mine for, got them through my work, but it should be around $30-40 for the rod bearings set and $40-50 for the main bearings set. yeah, these bearings as well as most aftermarket bearings manufactures are not selective fit like the honda bearings, its ok though cause the oil clearances will vary only a couple tenths of an inch, if not more between the others.
I need both main and rod bearings. I have cash in hand so first taker has my buisness!!
