I'm planning on getting a Vtec controller. Now i hear that a VTEC controller won't be a good thing on its own. What other accessory should I get on top of this to make the vtec controller beneficial to my ride.

Also any opinions on which one should i get I'm looking at this one. I got a h22 motor by the way,

instead of a vafc, consider crome, hondata, or neptune.

what mods do you have currently? why do you want a vtec controller?

 

Well i do have the h22 in my civic and i want to increase my output and make sure that I'm not lagging power where I shouldn't. Now with that in mind thats what these ecu's are supposed to do correct?

I've seen hondata around alot so I guess I'll go with Hondata if thats the case.

But before I jump on the ecu, vtec controller thingy I want to make sure I get the best possible one for my capabilities.

Also i got a big hole where the cup holder is supposed to be and i want this upgrade to cover that hole because the idiot did not put the shift linkage on right. So now I'm trying to think of things to put in that little but huge hole.
