hello i have a problem with my ac

i bought a new receiver pipe because the old one has a severe hole the pipe from the firewall to the receiver at the front or the radiator. I have no idea the pressure needed once the pipe is installed just trying to get some insight since the system is most likely empty, i also considered a flush to get rid of the contaminants but i also bought a a/c recharge kit from Canadian tire and do not want to waste it

any thoughts????
