AC help

Default AC help

My ac cuts off at idle and if I rev it up the compressor comes back on and when it idles it drops back off. It is hot and when I am at a stop light I have to keep rev ing it to keep the ac on and everone thinks I am a *** that wants to run. Help please

That doesn't make since to me. Are you sure the compressor cycles off at idle? Could it be it's still on but the A/C isn't cold?

Do you have access to 134A guages? If you do, a pressure reading would be helpful. Take a temp reading at the vents at different RPMs and
pay attention to the compressor fan (is the fan off when it should be on). If you post a little more info, I might be able to help.
