Absolutely NO compression, Headgasket on upside down???
Well im taking the head to a machine shop b/c I assumed some valves were bent since it had no compression. When I took the head off today the headgasket looked a bit odd, so i flipped it over and it fit better. Could an upside down headgasket cause NO compression I mean none, it didn't even hit 20psi on ANY cylinders.
Also the valves dont completely shut with the head off and the cams set to tdc on cylinder 1. they look about 3mm open. bent valve?

Are the rockers adjusted correctly?
Are the rockers adjusted correctly?
Well, if the rockers are physically touching the valvestems... it's going to keep the valves from closing. The rockers shouldn't be tight at TDC - they should wiggle up and down a little bit.
the valve lash is WAY outta wack. the valves that i thought were bent aren't. i messed around with them and got them to shut completely.
so i'm going to adjust them to spec and get a new headgasket and i should be good.
also found out that the headgasket was indeed upside down.
