Default ABS removal?

Alright i have a 95 gsr and was planning on boosting my car in this coming winter. Now assembling my parts i came across a air/water intercooling system that was previously used on another car and worked rather well. Its a very similar setup to one my freinds going to be running also...so my concerns are the intercooler unit itself...its so big....unlike my freinds prelude he can remove his airbox and intake and have plenty of space...yet in my integra i have some, but not enough i believe....so my plan was to remove my abs braking system....what is involved in removing the abs unit...can i just cut off the lines and run a jumper pipe from the old inputs to the output to the calipers...or has anyone every run a set of completely new lines...neways im just looking for some advice...this is a preliminary setup but is the direction i want to head...so any advice is greatly appreciated.
