Is it possible to remove the ABS gear on the rear hub? It looks like its just pressed on so maybe I could press it off?

its possible. I work in a machine shop though so i have access to alot of tools. I pressed it off of a brand new one though if its all rusted up it might be a little tougher.

 

Yep, I pressed one off and on to a new hub. Only thing is they're aluminum so they're easy to damage. I took a bad gear that I practiced on, cut it in half and snapped it under the gear I was taking off, this worked really well.
