about LS vtec
i would like to prevent people about somehing....
I read a lot on the forum and when i build my ls vtec, i saw people ask if they can keep the LS or RS tranny... i always see like answer yes you can ....
but this week end i went to drag and in my third run the pressure plate exployed and went out and fissured the block and killed the radiator....
I would like to say that IT S really important to change the tranny, i mean cluctch and pressure plate...
i hope this advice help...

I don't think that the pressure plate (Flywheel) has anything to do with changing the tranny, Well, if you bolted it back on wrong or something like that. But, when you add that much power you should always upgrade the drivetrain, too.
