I have a 1999 crv ex that the fuel pump gave out @ 227,000. I replaced pump and relay. Would not atart, checked for fuel at filter, had it, check fire none, removed cap had fire at coil then replaced cap and rotor had fire but would not start, Main relay seemes to be working, when I switch car on check engine light comes on, then I hear a click and the light goes off. Any help would be great Thanks Danny

 

You need fuel, spark, compression and timing for engine to run, you say you have fuel, [at filter] and spark.

I would confirm that you have fuel in the cylinders, try starting engine, then remove a spark plug to see if you have fuel on the spark plug.

Check compression and timing, both valve, [mechanical] and ign. [electrical]. 94
