99 accord keyless entry

Icon6 99 accord keyless entry

trying to find out where the keyless entry module is located on my 99 accord ex. Tried to program a remote using the on board programming and the locks wont cycle. can anyone help. Also the passenger lock actuator i think is bad can that effect the programming?

It is attached to the drivers under-dash panel if I remember correctly. 94

Im guessing you dont know how many and what color wires go into it? There is about 20 connectors down there.

Probably a green plug, around 20 pin, module will be bigger then pack of smokes, will probably say something on the module. 94

If my passenger door lock actuator is bad will that make it so i cant program the remote since that lock wont cycle?

No, but are you sure it is the actuator, it could be wiring or connections or the "Door Lock Control Module" itself, [pass. door actuator output not working] and in that case there may be other problems with it that prevent programing a remote. 94

I bench tested the actuator and its definetely bad as the for the door lock module the driver side works which would make me think nothing is wrong with it.
