Default 99-00 keyless into 93 si

I am currently building my 93 si and have decided to add a few features. I have the key fob and the module from a 99 sedan. Currently, I am working on the wiring situation and need any advice that is out there. I have already converted my si to the coupe power options.

The optional keyless entry/security system wiring harness piece would be very helpful in your case.

Post up the wiring diagram for the keyless module from the 99 and the door lock system from the 93 from the Helm manuals. If it's doable that will be your key.

Honestly, you might as well just look in to installing an aftermarket alarm. It's a modified 93 Civic, so it needs a security system anyway.

^ This. Clifford or Viper system will provide better security anyway, and just as much hassle to install if you're going to DIY it. Stealth install is best.

I have a diagram for both and it does look as if it would work. The major thing would be relocating the module of the eg from the door to the new module of the ek to inside the car. I won't be needing a security system as of now I am now going crazy with the vehicle just adding some minor touches.

If you're set on this, I'd suggest a 97-01 CRV keyless entry unit or 98-01 Integra keyless entry (which was optional). These have setups based in the door, more like the EG units. The CRV retrofit has been completed successfully by another user (angrysmileyface).

Where did you pull the module from in the sedan? I am having a hard time finding mine, both in the car and online....

The module is located in the driver side kick panel. I know that 99-00 ex sedans have it.
