Best bet is to remove the whole hub and take it to les schwab or americas tire co. and let them do it. </TD></TR></TABLE>
are you serious?
what disc thingy are you talking about?
you said you figured out how to take off the rotor and caliper.
take them off and hammer the stud out.
put the new stud in, put a bolt of the right size so the lugnut when put over the stud has enough room to pull itself tight on the hub, but not so much room that it will damage the threads again.
this is definitly a do it yourself job.

hes talking about the dust cover. to do it right you need to press the bearing out of the hub to get enough clearence to put in the new studs. Unless he has a press, hes going to have to have les schwab do it. I have seen people grind the back of the stud to get the clearance but thats half-assed.
