so i put a b18a1 block with a b18b1 head mated to an A1 cable tranny out of a 91 integra i believe, into a 97 integra. im running the hasport egbcc kit and it runs and drives but the speedometer and odometer dont work. i dont have the back up light switch hooked up and i know thats y the reverse lights dont work but whats up with the gauges?

check the vehicle speed sensor, a sensor that's connect to the transmission casing.
make sure that it's one from your years.

 

change out the cable vss for the electronic vss on your old trans

 

um i bought the car with no motor no tranny so i dont have one...is that the part that sits on top the tranny or on the front?
