Found something broken, not sure what it is, right behind my clutch fluid reservoir it looks like it was a black plastic cylindrical shape at one time now it looks like the bottom of it has broken off and now a bunch of electronics and resistors are exposed.

just bought the car, no idea what it is.
i want to know what it is so i can go find another to replace it. thanks

That's exactly what it is DEI 514T alarm. Google and part #s are there for a reason!

 

Can I just rip it out and not have an alarm? I don't even have a key fob only a single ignition key

 

take care when removing the alarm, you may end up with a no start condition if you just rip it out. trace all the wires and see where they tie into, more than likely it has a starter kill and is spliced into the ignition wires
