hey guys ive been working on my buddies 96 civic but the only problem we have now is when when you drive it and get on the gas from a stop it bogs down. . it is also throwing P1300 codes , we replaced cap rotor and wire (and made sure to mark where each one goes) ignition control mod, spark plugs, and it still has the same problem. it does have a cracked exhaust manifold right above the o2 sensor on top. he ordered a new header 4 it but would the cracked manifold cause the problem or would it be something else

 

have you checked the tps sensor?

 

not yet how would i check that and does it come off of the throttle body?

the idle is kinda weird stays high and if you tap gas it will drop back to where it needs to be

 

ok so we changed the tps and were still having the same problem and its still runnung rough any more ideas

 

What does P1300 reference again?

do the 96 civic have PCV's if so where would it be located and would that cause problems
