95 GSR oil pump

95 GSR oil pump
I ordered some parts online and the main part was a 95 gsr oil pump. The part number for this is 15100-PR4-A03 which is the same as the obd1 LS pumps. Upon doing some further research they changed all the pumps 96+. This is going on a high comp b20v. Will this pump be fine or do I need to get a obd2 p72 pump?
