P72 GSR??? Actually it wouldn't really matter as long as it is DOHC VTEC... Anywayz, as I said any DOHC VTEC head will work fine... There's no wiring involved so long as you use your current OBD1 distributor and injectors... Everything else will just be plug and play, they are the exact same... If your friend's '01 head has it's EVAP purge solenoid ontop of the IN manifold don't worry about connecting it up... You don't need it unless you have to emissions test your car sometime soon and they do a visual... Good Luck
The head itself doesn't have any wiring. All the wiring is on the distributor and intake manifold.
Reuse your intake manifold and distributor.
Altho, if you think you're going to tear the intake manifold gasket, just use whatever intake manifold is already attached to the head.

How is he going to bolt an ITR IN manifold onto his P72 cylinder head??? It doesn't just bolt straight up... The '94-2001 B18C1's ALL share the SAME head/*IN manifold (*with the exception of OBD2 being plummed with an extra line of the plenum for the newer style EVAP systems) so how come he can't just reuse his GSR IN manifold??? Perhaps a SK2 but that's just a waste of money if the rest of the motor is relatively stock... Sorry I just don't understand... Peace
thanks guys for your replys it turns out i didnt need to swap my head anyhow. i had to goto the ref and my head is milled with type R pistions so i wanted to put a stock head that wasnt milled on so lower the compression some. will it didnt seem to matter it passed so **** it.
