Default 94 cx B18c1 with a problem

Heres my problem, when I'm driving the RPM gauge starts to bounce around when I go above 3k rpms and vtec doesn't kick in when this happens. Also it takes me 15-20 mins to start the car and while driving sometimes it starts to bog out and want to turn off. I've checked all the hoses, vtec wires, ecu, and all the plugs. Everything seems to be working. No CEL. I was wondering if this could be a Ignition Coil problem? If anyone knows anything else could be the problem feel free to post. I've done a tune up about a month ago, changed the wires, rotor, cap, plugs.
Thanks

Honda Coils and Ignitors Suck ***.. If you have a friend with the same swap, switch distributors and see if it does ti then. Id have to say thats my guess..

Yeah, I called Acura and explain the problem to them and they suggested that it might be the Ignition Coil gone bad, so tomorrow I'm going to pick it up and see what happens. Hopefully its not the ignitor.
Thanks

Here's an update. I went to Acura on Friday, picked you the Ignition Coil and installed it. The car fired right up without a problem. No check engine and the RPM gauge didnt bounce while driving. Anyway long story short, the car died on Sunday. Didn't even want to start. It wanted to crank over but no spark. Found out the the Ignitor was bad too. So now I just picked up a brand new Distributor from a local Auto Parts store that got it for my within an hour. So tonight I'm gonna install it and see what happens.

Yah bro when you change the coil you should go ahead and change the ignitor also, the same thing happened to my car before, I was stuck for like 2 hours, hope that the problem is fixed after you change it.

Default Re: 94 cx B18c1 with a problem (11sec.ALL MOTOR)

Ok last night I replaced the distributor, the car fired right up. As of right now no more studder or the rpm gauge reads correct now. I did the timing as best as possible last night but I noticed this mornig that it still needs adjusting. If anyone knows what is the timing on a usdm 95 gsr that would be a great help. Oh yeah my dad last night also noticed that the plug from the starter was coming loose, but now that is fixed. I'm gonna wait a week to see if this is the solution to the problem I was having.

11sec.All Motor, i wish somebody told me that the first time before I got ripped off by the dealer.
thanks
