Default 94 accord trans question

car is a 94 accord, f22b1 engine. i put my automatic trans in second gear and accelerate from a stop. when i get to 3800-4000 rpm, it seems the engine goes into limp mode. is this a ecu/tcu function?

what can i do to put the trans into second or third and it rev to the moon?

Default Re: 94 accord trans question

i'm trying to oval track race the 94 accord, f22b1 engine with automatic. seems to be way down on power from what i thought it might have above 3800. it does have f206,000 miles on it. could the vtech function be not working? or is the computer controlling the rpm?

i need to put this thing in second gear and rev it on up.
