94 Accord LX Speedometer Issue
Hello everyone!
I have been trying to figure this out and I just need to know how to diagnose this issue.
odometer and trip meter dont work
when turning key to on position speedo jumps up to 20 and bounces a little.
All other gauges work
I dont know how to tell if VSS is bad or cluster. I do not know any methods to test VSS. Anyone with advice on how to test would be amazing as i have never had this issue.
i have tried disconnecting alternator and driving it and it still had same issue. I have heard if a diode went bad that was a way to test. I heard bad alternator can cause same issue. Any advice?
side note, cars alternator does charge battery and seems to function correctly
