94-97 Integra ABS REMOVAL, help!
I have a 95 integra and i want to take out my ABS because it is not working anyway. I want the extra room for my engine bay and i want it to look cleaner. I've searched and i saw a post for 98-01 integra all you have to change is a RS prop valve 40/40. What about for a 95 integra? Do i need to change the prop valve, mc, front brake lines, and more stuff? or do i just need to change certain stuff? Please dont post if your gonna ask why do i wanna do this or anything thats not gonna be helpful, i've seen enough post about this removal and can't find that much useful info because of people saying stuff thats not related to the removal of this.
I removed the ABS in my 94 GSR. You will need a proportioning valve from a non abs 4 wheel disk brake honda and you will need to bend 4 brake lines (master cylinder to the proportioning valve and from the valve to the front brakes). I bought the brake lines from a local auto parts store along with the bending tool, flare tool and a small pipe cutter to cut the brake lines. Let me know if you have any questions.
so basicly the master cylinder and the brake booster i can use the stock gsr one right? what kind of car has non abs w/ 4wheel disc? rs integra, 99-00 civic si, what else? if i use rs brake lines then i wont need to bend and cut the gsr brake lines?
You can use the gsr master cylinder only if you bend your own custom lines. If you use the rs brake lines you will need a rs master cylinder because the outlets are different on the RS vs GSR (different brake line inlet/outlets). I think I got my proportioning valve out of an old non abs teg with 4 wheel disk.
i just got the complete setup from a EG Si it bolted right in with very minor bending. easy to do by hand, and very cheap from the junk yard $25.00

You need to replace your proportioning valve either way because the ABS unit is your proportioning valve right now.
Try to find a RS and take all the parts off it (proportioning valve, 4 brake lines and master cylinder). You would just need to bolt everything up.
Or buy a proportioning valve and fab your own brake lines.

i found a 91 integra LS proportioning valve, would this work for my 95 gsr? and if i get this proportioning valve does it mean my only choice is to do custom stainless steel lines? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW
can i still use my 94-97 integra LS booster and mc for the abs removal?
from what i understand right now is:
if you use your gsr mc you cant use RS brake lines?
and if you use RS mc you can use the RS brake lines?

I would also like to know this. I'm removing my ABS in a GSR, but will use stainless braided lines for the brake lines. Does this mean I can keep my oem GSR MC/BB and just buy a prop valve? If so, it'll save me $100.

pretty much. I have heard you can modify the RS lines to work with the GSR MS but I have never tried. The difference is the outlet locations on the MS is different between the RS and GSR.
