i have a 92 accord ex 2.2 manual trans and have a clunk sound when i take off and when im in 1st gear driving slow and give a little gas. it does not make this noise while turning like a bad cv does. ive narrowed it down to where the passenger axle goes in the trans but i cant tell if its coming from the axle or if its coming from the trans. do i have trans backlash or worn splines or a bad cv? how can i narrow it down?
