I have a 92 accord EX Coupe with an acceleration problem. Usually twice in the power band there is a sag in power. Right around 2000 and again higher in the range. The car also seems to idle rough, like it has a miss. I have tried cleaning the carbon out of the EGR ports, but I'm not sure that helped much. What can I do to restore power to my car? Is there any cleaner that I can run, or a fuel pressure test that could rule out a faulty fuel system??

 

Check, in order:

Injectors
O2 Sensor
MAP sensor
Throttle Body carbon buildup

 

Sounds like a problem i had with my Civic. Check the wires.
