Default '92 Civic - no spark...help...

My friend's '92 Civic quit on the way home a few days ago and won't restart. It cranks, but no fire. I have checked everything I can think to check. It is getting fuel, compression is good meaning timing belt is ok and no mechanical problems. The coil primary and secondary resistance is ok and the resistance and voltage to the ICM is ok. All signs point to the ICM or coil but everything checks out as compared to the Hayne's manual.. Any advice??? What else could cause a no spark? Or could the ICM be bad but still check out on resistance? Is the resistance test a definitive check?

Thanks,
Trav

If the coil tests ok, i would put an ignitor in it. typically when coils get to the point of not sparking they will test bad, however, i have seen some that tested good, but had a weak spark. but since your coil is ok, go with the icm
