92-95 B16a high idle
Hey i put a b16a in my 92 HB and i put all new **** in the TB and intake gasket and its still high when i did my swap i didnt change my map sensor i dont know if i need too
Start with a throttle cable adjustment then an idle adjustment. Check for vacuum leaks. These 3 are good places to start not necessarily replaceing parts. Map sensor failure is not a likely suspect of a high idle issue. I would not replace it.
Is the screw adjusted to a completely closed throttle plate and it's still idling high? If not, what happens when you adjust the TB too far closed? Check the MAP sensor voltage at the closest to idle rpm that you can get. If it's not in spec and you can't find a leak, you'll want to check the system with a vacuum gauge. If the MAP sensor voltage doesn't correspond to the amount of vacuum that the gauge reads, then the sensor is bad. Also, is there any rpm bouncing?
b18 TB on b16 Intake manifold is the best corrrection your all dumb checking the map voltage is a waste of time those sensors never ever fail ever your all baddies except for a few of you go jack off and learn about cars properly IM GAY
