Default 91 Civic stalling problem HELP

I got a 91 Civic LX 1.5 Automatic and all of the sudden the car started stalling when sitting in traffic for long periods of time. It only stalls when idling in Drive (3) or Drive (4) and not in any other gears. What could this be? Also, ive checked the 2 sensors in the throttle body (when looking at engine, 2 sensors running vertical in middle under throttle opening). The top sensor showed 8.9 ohms resistance while the top showed nothing. What is the name of these 2 sensors and could that be the problem? also, the cars runs and drives perfect when not idling in drive...
